The Stony Creek board on Aug. 26 approved a tentative agreement with the California School Employees Association (CSEA) covering 2024–25 that provides a 1.5% retroactive salary increase for classified employees effective July 1, 2024 and raises the district’s health insurance contribution by $250 (from $14,052 to $14,302).
Trustees voted to accept the agreement, approve the updated classified salary schedule and to apply the 1.5% increase to the certificated union (SCFT) schedule as previously discussed. Motion to accept the CSEA agreement was made by Trustee Krystal Craven and seconded by Trustee Cathie Bodeker; vote recorded 4–0, 1 absent. The board also approved a one‑year MOU temporarily increasing 194‑day positions to 195 days for 2025–26 to account for calendar configuration.
The business office reported the SRS (Secure Rural Schools) allocation for 2024–25 was $19,703 (about 10% of a normal allocation), and that unaudited 2024–25 actuals will be presented at a future meeting to finalize year‑end balances.
