At the organizational meeting the board adopted several administrative authorizations. One motion authorized the Superintendent and Business Manager to use facsimile signatures on district checks, to make wire transfers and to invest district funds in qualifying investments following board authorization.
Separately, the board authorized the use of the district credit card by named positions (Superintendent, Business Manager, Principals, Activities Director, Transportation Supervisor, advisors and coaches and others as deemed necessary by the Superintendent) with purchases required to comply with statutes and district policy and to have prior approval.
The board also authorized the Superintendent to employ substitutes and occasional seasonal temporary employees as needed. Each authorization was adopted by motion and carried unanimously.
