Board approves multiple hires, new science teacher and personnel changes

The Litchfield Public School District School Board approved a slate of personnel actions on June 23 as part of the consent agenda. Appointments recorded in the minutes include Jennifer Ridgeway as Associate Director of IT; Lori Mattice and Heidi Anderson as 2025–2026 EC classroom assistants; Grant Solem as 2025–2027 Community Education Director and Kelsie Hogg as 2025–2027 CE Program Coordinator. Dragon Kids Club hires approved include Alexis Muchow (up to 15 hours per week at $13.50/hour), Tayah Damerow (up to 10 hours/week at $13.50/hour) and Nic Cox (up to 30 hours/week at $15.50/hour). The board accepted the resignation of Katie Markgraf, effective June 20, 2025.
The board also approved Rachel Moorhouse as High School Science Teacher at salary MA, Step O ($74,589), starting Aug. 25, 2025 to replace Jason Louwagie. These items were approved as part of the consent agenda by a 5-0 vote. The minutes do not include individual employment contract terms beyond the salary noted for the science teacher and hourly rates for the DKC aides.
