The nominations and balloting occurred early in the meeting. "Motion by Cherie Peterson to cast a unanimous ballot for 2026, as follows: Office of Chair, Katie Howard nominated by Cherie Peterson," the minutes record. After the election, Katie Howard called the remainder of the meeting to order as the 2026 chair at 6:16 p.m.
The officer elections followed a brief vice-chair balloting exchange that recorded votes for nominations before the board moved to a single unanimous ballot.
