Mark Jessens, representing Campo Amado, told attendees his family operates a 150-acre coffee farm in Guatemala and that the business brings its beans roasted in Brooklyn to the Wappinger Farmers Market.
"We are Campo Amato," Jessens said, describing blends on offer and family-named coffees such as Sonata and the Jovita blend. He listed offerings including a light-roast Guatemala Manzana, a mocha java, Colombian decaf and the darker Mayan Gold Espresso. Jessens framed the operation as "seed to cup," emphasizing family ties and direct sourcing from the farm.
The vendor said the coffee is rotated among markets and invited attendees to sample and purchase at the market table.
