The board also accepted resignations from athletic staff: Cory Kapphahn, junior high football coach, effective Jan. 20, 2026 after four years of service; Kevin Sommers, head football coach, effective Jan. 15, 2026 after 12 years of service; and Brian Carlson, head softball coach, effective Dec. 31, 2025 after 10 years of service.
Motions to accept each resignation were made and carried unanimously. The minutes include expressions of thanks for the departing staff members' years of service but do not record discussion of replacement plans or interim staffing.
