Board hears 2026 resident survey and superintendent highlights district "mission"

Peter Leatherman of the Morris Leatherman Company presented the results of the Osseo Public School District’s 2026 Resident Survey at the April 21 board meeting. The presentation was recorded on the agenda but the meeting minutes do not include detailed survey findings.

Superintendent Dr. Kim Hiel delivered the superintendent’s "Points of Pride" report, highlighting students, staff and community contributions. Hiel summarized the district mission as "to inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning." The board received both the survey presentation and the superintendent report during the meeting; no formal action on the survey results was recorded.
