Trustee Gordee moved the resolution and Trustee Sjodin seconded; the board voted 5–0 in favor with Trustee Praska absent. The resolution reads in part: “BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District No. 883, Authorizes Rockford High School Principal, Paul Menard, to grant high school diplomas on Friday, May 30, 2025 to all Rockford Area School District students that have met the State of Minnesota and Rockford Area School District graduation requirements.” The roll-call recorded no opposing votes.
