Board adopts package of policy final reads and approves policy 613R

The Rockford board adopted final readings of policies 201, 202, 203, 203.1, 203.2, 203.5, 203.6, 204, 205 and 206 and separately approved policy 613R at its March 12, 2025 meeting.
At the March 12, 2025 regular meeting the Rockford Area Schools Board adopted a set of policy final reads recommended by the Policy Committee. The policies approved on final reading were 201, 202, 203, 203.1, 203.2, 203.5, 203.6, 204, 205 and 206. The motion to adopt the package was made by Johnson and seconded by Sjodin; the motion passed unanimously.
Policy 613R was presented separately for final reading and approved by vote (motion by Johnson; second by Gordee). The Policy Committee had forwarded these items for final action after prior review. Board members present voting in favor were Gordee, Johnson, Morgan and Sjodin.
