Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch updated the Board on Vision Team 2030 work, saying May's meeting focused on students' daily lived experiences and on reviewing the facilities-assessment results. "May's meeting covered daily lived experiences of students, and reviewing results of the facilities assessment - then participating in activities based on the assessment data," the minutes state.
Dr. Staloch told directors the Vision Team plans to visit other districts on June 18 to observe flexible learning spaces and that additional summer meetings could be scheduled to ensure comprehensive coverage before the team develops recommendations. No formal vote or final recommendations were issued during the June 3 Study Session; the work is preparatory and intended to inform future Board decisions on learning environments.
