The Board approved its consent agenda by roll-call vote, taking up several administrative contracts, leases, appointments, and budget items. Notable items included the extension of the FY26 Immunization Services contract with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services for $18,895 (effective 7/1/26–6/30/27); acknowledgment of a $7,700 unbudgeted floor scrubber purchase for the jail; a lease for space at 126 S. Kellogg Avenue with Collaborative Individual and Community Supports for $150 per month; and a lease with Mary Greeley Medical Center for 124 S. Hazel Avenue at $5,261 per month.
The Board also approved Resolution #26-87 consenting to the inclusion of certain property within two miles of the Ames city limits in a proposed Urban Renewal Area under Chapter 403 of the Code of Iowa, approved the FY27 Secondary Roads Five Year Construction Program, and appointed Amanda Brewer to the Analysis of Social Services Evaluation Team (ASSET) for an unexpired term ending 3/31/27. The consent agenda included the County Compensation Schedule effective 7/1/26.
