At its April 15 work session, the St. Anthony-New Brighton School Board voted to enter a closed session "as permitted by Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.05 Subdivision 2(b) for the purpose of preliminary consideration of allegations regarding a high school administrator." Laurel Hood moved the motion and Mike Overman seconded; the motion carried 5–0 with PJ Striker recorded as absent.
The board indicated it would reconvene the regular meeting after the closed session. Because Minnesota law governs closed personnel discussions, the publicly available transcript contains only the motion and the roll-call vote; the substance of the closed session was not made public in the meeting record.
