Alexandria Township board approves consent agenda; limits summer exterior change orders to $30,000

Board minutes show the amendment to item 11.D.2 replaced a previously listed $50,000 aggregate authority with $30,000. All such change orders must be reported to the board and ratified at the next regular meeting, the minutes state. The motion to amend 11.D.2 was made by Doug Walker, seconded by April Abelman, and the roll-call vote on the amendment is recorded as YES 5, NO 0, ABSENT 4.
The consent agenda included multiple finance and personnel items, with the minutes recording the board's certification that no major account had been overexpended as of June 30, 2025. The board also approved a bill list covering June 27–Aug. 14, 2025, with a total shown in the minutes as $2,135,759.91. The district's business office will present all approved change orders for formal ratification in the next meeting's minutes.
