WEM principals report PBIS recognition, retirements and spring athletics achievements

WEM Principal Dr. Jennifer Wilson reported that Waterville Elementary sustained its PBIS Exemplar School designation for 2024–25 and will be honored at the PBIS Summer Institute on August 14. Her submitted report also recognized staff milestone service years and three retirees: Joyce Mace (37 years), Patty Whitehurst (36 years) and Becky Vollbrecht (25 years).
Middle School Principal Myles Knutson reported end-of-year classroom celebrations and the school's continued PBIS recognition, including student PBIS events and a water-balloon-launch celebration. Activities and Community Education Director Jeff Boran summarized spring athletics accomplishments: multiple All-Conference selections across baseball, softball and track, a girls flag football team that finished district runners-up, and Clay Target competitors who qualified for the state shoot.
