During the Corvallis School District 509J Budget Committee meeting on April 24, 2025, committee members pressed staff for more data on several operational and fiscal questions.
Members raised concerns about declining enrollment and asked staff to show how projected enrollment changes would affect revenues and staffing. Committee members requested a district FTE comparison and further detail on the impact of recent budget cuts. Members also asked for expanded material for the budget FAQ and additional resources on the district website so the public can follow deliberations. Committee members listed in the record included Tony Vandermeer, Terese Jones, Cassandra Inman, Andrew Freborg and others, and Judah Largent was noted attending virtually.
Superintendent Ryan Noss and Finance Director Lauren Wolfe were asked to provide the requested follow-up information to inform future discussions and any proposed revisions to the budget.
