Facilities presenter Earl Schaub described the equipment as providing "real time feeds so video could be pulled right from a computer, without a need to go pull a tape. It would also include a forward facing camera. We would take this out after July 1st for Fiscal 2026 and be done by fall." The board recorded the purchase and authorized the contract award to ProVision for the stated amount.
The procurement addresses buses that currently do not have cameras and aims to improve the district's ability to access video quickly for safety or incident review.
