Superintendent Ryan Noss reviewed the community budget meeting held Feb. 27 and noted a budget input survey with 440 responses. The meeting praised the Foundation's role in connecting unmet needs to partners and supporting programs such as the Family Support and Bridges initiatives. Angela Hibbard, Executive Director of the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, outlined the foundation’s three priorities—educational access, learning enrichment and academic support—and described examples of grants and programs the foundation funds.
Discussion groups considered ways to better communicate district achievements and to align Foundation grantmaking to identified needs. Participants flagged a challenge of fragmented communications across platforms and recommended more accessible resources, such as recordings of engagement sessions, to preserve and share district successes.
