Members said specified locations are desirable for inspection and safety, but they also raised concerns that some private properties lack sufficient parking and that adding vendors can congest lots and create safety issues. Staff and the presenter noted ADA and trip-generation implications for some high-traffic sites and said designated sites could make ODOT/traffic coordination easier.
