The board approved three curriculum motions with unanimous recorded votes (Yea: 5, Nay: 0, Absent: 2). Director Chris Hawkins moved to re‑adopt Mystery Science and Foss Kits for elementary science; Co‑Vice Chair Terese Jones moved to re‑adopt Glencoe Biology (2017), Introductory Chemistry (Cengage, 2015) and College Physics, A Strategic Approach (Pearson, 2019) for high school; and Director Bernie Wang moved to adopt Great Body Shop (K‑6) and Comprehensive Health Skills for middle and high school.
Each motion was seconded and approved with five yea votes and two absences recorded (Co‑Vice Chair Tominey and Director Largent were absent). The adopted materials and vote tallies will be recorded in the official 2024‑25 board records and the associated reports and slide decks are posted with the meeting packet.
