"This would include tablets for all buses and give parents notifications for when the bus will be at the stop," Schaub said, and added that "if there is a sub driver on a bus, it also helps with driving by giving specific turns and route information." He said the service would be funded from tech and security and at-risk funds after July 1 and mentioned an annual fee of $13,500.
The motion to approve the A-91 contract to Tyler Technologies for $60,073 passed on a 6-0 roll-call vote (motion: L. Nelson; support: J. Taylor).
