Groundwater report: Mendocino rain year near average, water table stable

District staff reported average depth-to-water across 24 monitoring wells of 14.31 feet and said the May 31 evaluation date is the next scheduled checkpoint under the water shortage contingency plan.
Staff said there is currently no water shortage in the district based on rainfall and groundwater metrics. The report included operational updates on notifications mailed for meter overage and failure to report readings, and continued monitoring was recommended.
