The minutes record that "Directors Fields and Shepard recuse themselves and step outside due to their affiliation with the Film Festival," and that the consent motion carried with three ayes and two abstentions. The board also adopted changes to the Governance Guidelines concerning the process for placing items on agendas and consolidating the Safety and Plant Operations Committees. The minutes record the board action: "IT IS ORDERED to adopt the changes to the Governance Guidelines on the process for agendizing topics for Board meetings and consolidating the Safety and Plant Operations Committees."
Superintendent Ryan Rhoades presented an AB 2561 report on vacancies and recruitment and reported that the district had no vacancies for calendar year 2025. The meeting adjourned at 6:17 p.m. The board packet and adopted minutes are posted on the district website.
