Committee members had previously approved the April 3, 2025 Budget Committee minutes by unanimous voice vote. Chair Murillo also announced the next steps in the budget process: a possible May 1 Budget Committee meeting if needed, a May 8 public hearing at the Board Work Session, and final budget adoption scheduled for the Board meeting on May 22, all at Oakdale Middle School beginning at 5:30 PM.
The committee record notes district staff provided answers to committee questions on school-level budget transparency, staffing allocations and funding sustainability during the meeting. The resolution recorded here approves the budget and the stated budget approval levels; further public input will be taken at the May 8 hearing before the school board is scheduled to adopt the budget on May 22.
