The Klamath County School District board approved grant awards totaling $20,095 and passed the consent agenda on June 12. The consent agenda included the monthly financial report, minutes from budget committee meetings, personnel contracts for multiple hires and several resignations; the roll call recorded a unanimous approval (5-0).
"I move we approve the grant awards as presented in the amount of $20,095," moved Jill O'Donnell and seconded by Brooke Kliewer; the motion carried 5-0. The consent agenda motion (moved by Jill O'Donnell and seconded by John Rademacher) also passed with a recorded 5-0 vote.
The consent items listed specific hires (for example, Ben Baker, Ferguson; Andy Bracco, CHS) and resignations (including Jesus Ayala-Macias, Kelsey Hammond and others) as recorded in the board packet. A retirement of Sean Tripp (GHS) was also recorded. The board did not discuss individual personnel items in open session beyond approving them as part of the consent agenda.
The district's monthly financial report was included with the packet and will remain part of the public record; any follow-up questions were to be handled through the business services office.
