Bill Gilmore attended to answer questions about the insurance rates and coverage. The minutes record the insurance motion: “I move we approve the insurance coverage as presented for fiscal year 2025-26.” The motion, made by Katie Bruner and seconded by John Rademacher, passed 5-0. The board also approved the updated authorized spending limit thresholds presented by Director of Business Services Janet Melsness, also by unanimous vote. The approvals allow staff to finalize insurance procurement and spending-authority changes for the upcoming fiscal year.
