High school coach Shane Hedrick will cover Athletic Director duties for 2025–26

Superintendent Darin Drill told the board that after the late resignation of the district’s Athletic Director (Rise), high school teacher and head football coach Shane Hedrick agreed to assume Athletic Director duties for the 2025–26 school year.
The minutes state Hedrick will work .25 in the classroom and .75 as a TOSA assigned to the athletic department for the year. Drill said the Athletic Director position will be posted in Spring 2026 for the 2026–27 school year. The appointment is an interim operational change recorded in the board packet; no vote was required in the minutes.
