Board approves agenda, minutes and adopts amended equity-advisory policy

At its Oct. 8, 2025 meeting the Centennial School District 28J Board approved the meeting agenda and Sept. 24 minutes, approved consent/confirmation items, and adopted an amended Educational Equity Advisory Committee policy; all motions passed unanimously.
The Centennial School District 28J Governing Board approved its Oct. 8, 2025 meeting agenda after Director Melissa Standley moved to approve it and Director Michael Newman seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved the Sept. 24, 2025 meeting minutes and a package of confirmation items including the revised 2025–26 school-year calendar options, financial statements for June and July 2025, enrollment reports, human-resources employment approvals, and sole-source contract approvals. Director Standley moved to approve confirmation items and Director Ronald "Jess" Hardin seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
On a separate motion, Chair Pam Shields moved to adopt the CEA - Educational Equity Advisory policy with an amendment to remove footnoted and bracketed language; Director Melissa Standley seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board recorded each of these outcomes as unanimous without recorded no or abstain votes.
