Superintendent Helena Chirinian updated the board on end-of-year activities: 78 seniors participated in Graduation 2025 at the park, the district launched a three-week high-dose (1:1) literacy tutoring program for elementary students, and Food Service Director Cindy Devos is providing free meals Monday–Thursday throughout the summer.
Chirinian also reported that 25 teachers are participating in the Constructed Meaning training connected to House Bill 3499 EL Outcomes work and that four staff members attended additional leadership training in Hillsboro. A draft Code of Conduct prepared by Athletic Coordinator Keith Wallin was shared with the board for further discussion.
