The Brookings-Harbor School District board voted 5–0 on a motion to approve the second reading and adoption of a package of policy revisions. The motion was moved by Board Member Janece Payne and seconded by Alan Nidiffer.
Policies approved included required updates on suspected sexual conduct with students and reporting requirements (GBNAA/JHFF), graduation requirements (IKF), and other recommended or optional updates addressing educator standards, family and medical leave, paid leave options, and a new optional policy on artificial intelligence (IKJ). The board recorded no discussion on the motion prior to the unanimous vote.
