The board recessed the public session to an executive session under ORS 192.660(2)(a) to consider the employment of a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent. The minutes record the executive session as occurring in the 5–7 p.m. hour and show the board reconvened the public special session at 6:56 p.m. The board took no public action during the special session and recorded no motions or votes. Present for the session were Board Chair Patrick Gregg; Vice-Chair Beth Harrison; board members Ryan Lehnert, Jill Pace, Preston Eagleheart, Mason Murphy (virtual) and Anne Keeler; Executive Secretary Ronda Thornburg; and consultants Doug Nelson and Heidi Sipe.
