Principal Kalin Cross told the board that Phoenix High School is focused on district-aligned strategic priorities including attendance and engagement, keeping students on track for graduation, instructional coherence and development of an instructional playbook using high-leverage strategies. He highlighted efforts to increase student voice, leadership and school spirit as part of building engagement and ownership.
Cross described how those priorities connect to classroom practice and to district expectations for on-track progress to graduation. Chair Michael Campbell and Superintendent Brent Barry closed the session by thanking administrative leaders for their work and noting the presentations' connections to the district strategic plan; the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
