The committee recorded appropriations of $174,848,398 for the General Fund, $53,069,201 for Special Revenue Funds, $28,101,700 for Debt Service Funds and $5,671,000 for Capital Project Funds.
The motion was made by Michael Reyes and seconded by Victoria Rizzo; the committee voted unanimously to pass the budget, Yea: 8, Nay: 0. Budget Committee Chair Margaret Breithaupt opened the meeting at 6:03 p.m. and the committee discussed potential trade-offs and program priorities if the district must find roughly $3 million in additional resources before final adoption.
