Public commenter Bonnie Slager urged attendance at July 4 festivities, said organizers already had more than 100 horses promised toward a goal of 250, and encouraged residents to take advantage of a Quakes 'Norco night' ticket block priced at about $17.30 per seat. "I know we have over 100 horses promised and so we don't have that far to go to get to our 250," Slager said. Council members also noted volunteers and local groups participating in the celebrations.
Council did not take policy action on the events during the meeting; staff provided logistical details and ticketing guidance for residents.
