Budget Committee elects Lupe Murillo chair, Amanda Olson vice chair for 2025-26

The Medford School District Budget Committee unanimously elected Lupe Murillo as Budget Committee Chair for the 2025-26 budget year and Amanda Olson as Budget Committee Vice Chair on April 3, 2025. Casey Stine nominated Murillo for chair; the committee recorded a voice vote of "ALL AYES." Cynthia Wright nominated Olson for vice chair and the committee likewise approved the nomination by voice vote.
The elections took place early in the meeting after the roll call. Margie Grether arrived during the vice chair nomination. The leadership changes position Murillo to lead the committee through the April and May budget review and public hearing process.
