Jenkinsburg council opens meeting, adopts agenda and approves minutes

Mayor Eddie Ford called the City of Jenkinsburg council to order at 7:00 p.m. on April 27, 2026, with Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts and council members Gary Brown, Gary Roberts, Brent Eberspacher and Joye England present.
Council moved quickly through routine business. Gary Roberts moved to adopt the meeting agenda (recorded in the minutes as the agenda for the April 27, 2026 meeting); Jason Watts seconded and the motion passed with Watts, Eberspacher, Brown, Roberts and England voting 'aye.' Later, Gary Brown moved to approve the April 13, 2026 minutes as presented; Jason Watts seconded and the council again recorded unanimous 'aye' votes and approved the minutes.
The meeting then proceeded to appointments and ordinance discussion. The clerk recorded the meeting proceedings.
