The Seaside School District Board voted Jan. 21 to adopt Resolution #1 approving the Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD) Local Service Plan for 2025-26. The motion, made by Shannon Swedenborg and seconded by Chris Corder, carried with six members voting yea and one member absent.
Superintendent Susan Penrod introduced the NWRESD presentation outlining core and menu services available to component districts, including technology, instructional services and special education supports. The board packet included a copy of the resolution and a district-specific presentation from NWRESD staff.
Board members discussed the resolution briefly before voting; no amendments were offered. The resolution calls for districts to approve the Local Service Plan by March 1, 2025, per the NWRESD materials.
