Kathryn Lynip, library director, presented the 2026 LAHE financial summary and said "6,052,650 is spread across three buckets" — Arts and History, Library and CSU Extension — and that the library portion includes a mix of operating funds, grants and project money.
Wendy Norris, Office Business Manager, summarized the 2026 library budget and noted salaries account for the largest single line item at 82.4 percent. She listed specific grant sources supporting the budget, including the State Grant to Libraries, the Broomfield Library Friends Foundation and Broncos funds, and described planned capital projects such as an automated materials handler, new adult circulation service desks and a Libcabinet automated lending system. Board members asked for clearer outreach materials for HOAs and discussion included embedding information in digital mailers and other outward communication.
