During the Aug. 13 meeting public comment period, three community members addressed trustees. Mr. Kevin Romero presented a WSL report to the audience. Mrs. Sandra Alvarado urged the board to consider bringing uniforms to lower grades to address bullying. Mr. Marvin Maravilla requested use of a field to practice ahead of an upcoming soccer tournament.
The public comment period is limited to four minutes per speaker under district policy. Trustees acknowledged the remarks and staff indicated they would follow up on logistics such as facility use and routing for bus stops that surfaced elsewhere in trustee remarks.
