At the Jan. 29 meeting the Board approved a broad consent agenda by a 6-0 vote. The consent items included budget status and amendments for Nov. 30 and Dec. 31, 2024; contract awards for SBISD security vestibules, Spring Woods kitchen renovations, Wilchester Elementary walking trail improvements; increases to contracts for outsourced moving services, body cameras, and infrastructure components; multiple easements for the Guthrie Center and Sherwood Elementary; resolutions authorizing joint elections with the cities of Bunker Hill Village, Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point Village and Spring Valley Village; and approval of payroll and operating expenses for November and December 2024.
Trustee John Perez moved to approve the consent agenda and Secretary Shannon Mahan seconded; the motion passed 6-0. Several items on the consent agenda were routine procurement or administrative approvals; the Board did not identify additional discussion for these items during open session.
