Chris Kyea updated the FLOW Advisory Committee on Broomfield Together, a two‑year initiative to update the Comprehensive Plan and Mobility Plan. He said the project team will run extensive community outreach including pop‑up events, direct engagement and a survey process that will include a statistically selected sample of 3,000 residents, and that anyone may participate online.
Kyea emphasized that the committee’s role is advisory: consultants, facilitators and city planning staff will develop recommendations and return to the committee for feedback. Members were encouraged to share outreach opportunities and help publicize the survey and engagement events.
