The board voted to authorize the town supervisor to sign a letter of intent to negotiate in good faith with North Shore Networks LLC as agent for Orleans County to lease space on the town water tank at 4709 Oak Orchard Road. The resolution states the town and North Shore "intend to complete negotiations and enter into a lease in the first calendar quarter of 2026," and the chair said the supervisor should execute the letter to indicate interest and allow county-level discussions to proceed after Jan. 1.
The motion was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote. Board members asked for numbers on lease terms and agreed the incoming board would continue negotiations and review terms when available.
