The Town of Barre adopted a final order and an amending bond resolution for Water District Number 10 during its Dec. 10 meeting. The documents set an estimated maximum project cost of $2,125,000 and identify financing by an approximate $1,101,000 USDA Rural Development grant with serial bonds authorized not to exceed $1,024,000.
Board members discussed where to insert the legal description from the engineering reports; the chair said several engineering reports on the project exist dating back to 2017 and that required filings will be submitted to the county clerk and Department of Audit and Control. The motions to adopt the order and the amending and restating bond resolution passed by voice vote.
