Board adopts consent agenda, approves interdistrict transfer slots, new course and student travel

Consent items recorded in the minutes included employment changes (administrative termination; licensed appointments, leaves and terminations), approval of interdistrict transfer allocations — 121 transfer slots into North Clackamas and an unlimited number out — a new course proposal, "Introduction to Barbering" at the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center, and travel permission for 20 SSC students to Orlando April 25-30, 2025.
During the same portion of the meeting the board adopted three proclamations: May 2025 as Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month (R24/25-67), April 21-25, 2025 as Volunteer Appreciation Week (R24/25-68), and May 5-9, 2025 as Licensed Staff Appreciation Week (R24/25-69). All motions related to the consent agenda and proclamations passed unanimously according to the minutes.
