The Merced River School District Board unanimously approved the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) for 2025–2026 at its June 16, 2025 meeting at Washington School.
The superintendent recommended approval of the LCAP as submitted following a public hearing on June 9, 2025 during which no public comments were recorded. "The superintendent recommends approval of the LCAP as submitted," the board record states. John Sexauer moved to approve the plan and Ayerim Aguilar seconded; the motion carried unanimously with all six members present voting yes (Holly Tucker, Roxanne Rosales, Stephanie Sexauer, Ayerim Aguilar, John Sexauer and Richard Lopez).
The LCAP approval was listed as action item XI.a on the agenda. The board did not record any public testimony opposing the plan at either the June 9 or June 16 meetings. The vote completes the board's adoption step for the district's accountability and pupil-services plan for the coming school year.
The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2025.
