At the Oct. 13 meeting the Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025–2026 membership for the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) and approved an amendment to the District Plan of Innovation.
Darla Reed moved approval of the SHAC membership and John Campbell seconded; the motion passed 7–0. Vice President Leesa Toliver moved approval of the amendment to the District Plan of Innovation and John Campbell seconded; the board voted unanimously, 7–0.
