Stanfield FFA students to receive state degrees at March convention

Stanfield FFA chapter members reported that five seniors earned state degrees and outlined planned activities — general sessions, leadership workshops and team-building — at the March 19–22 state convention.
Dawn Daria Stark, introduced herself and the Stanfield FFA presentation, saying the chapter will attend the state convention the week of spring break.
"We were lucky to have 5 seniors this year, get the honor of getting their state degree," Stark said, describing the work students completed to qualify for the award. She told the board delegates will attend general sessions that include officer elections, keynote speakers and recognition of state-level awards.
Stark and student delegates described planned workshops on leadership, agricultural technology and career development. They said the convention also includes chapter-management sessions intended to help incoming officers and optional team-building activities such as bowling and group dinners.
Board members thanked the students for the presentation and confirmed travel logistics: the delegation will leave next Thursday at noon and return Sunday afternoon. The board recorded the presentation and moved the convention trip onto the action agenda later in the meeting.
