Supervisor John later summarized financials to the end of October: the town had spent $5,538,462.56, or 76.83% of the annual budget, and the highway department had spent $944,494.54 (76.28%). John noted the town was roughly 6–7 percentage points under the expected year‑to‑date burn rate (83.33%).
