Commissioner Portorreal reported Summer Recreation enrollment at 118 children; the program will attend the pool four days per week at a cost of $10 per child. The Pool has 123 memberships, 15 of which are out-of-town residents; the Arts Association received a grant for a mural on the pool building and the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign is offering pickleball events.
Chief Mike Cmielewski informed the board that "the 3 new officers graduated from the academy today." Crossing guard Arlene Bilazeros announced her retirement. Superintendent Flynn reported the elevator is under repair (estimated three weeks), the Village received an insurance check for dock damage, new digital sign installed, AC unit covers were placed to prevent tampering, and a QR code for the DPW calendar is now active. Attorney Boggia noted the Apache court session was adjourned and rescheduled to July 16.
