Ridgefield Park Environmental Commission approves May minutes and reviews budgets, payments

The Nature Preserve Account has an adjusted 2026 budget of $15,000.00 and a reported balance of $10,902.66 (as of June 1). Noted disbursements include a $2,491.50 first payment to Schifano Landscaping for preserve maintenance, $250 to the Bergen County Audubon Society for assistance with a bird sign, and $100 to Wild Birds Unlimited for bird‑sign graphics.
The meeting closed routine business and later adjourned at 8:03 p.m. after a motion by Chair Stephen Quinn, seconded by Lisa Rehm; all were in favor. The commission confirmed its next regular meeting for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
