The motion to set the hearing was made by Councilmember G Schmidt and seconded by Councilmember Bender and carried with all voting yes.
The hearing will provide the formal opportunity for public review of the SRF loan application and the environmental information the city must provide under SRF procedures. The council did not take further action on the loan application at the Aug. 3 meeting.
